AN AGATE FOLIATE DISH
18TH-19TH CENTURY

The dish is elegantly carved with eight bracket petal lobes rising from the high foot to form the walls of the
dish which terminate in an everted foliate rim. The thinly-carved walls showcase the fne structure of the
pale lavender-grey stone.
