                                                              Mrs. Antenor Patiño; Sotheby's, New York, 1 November 1997, lot 136.
          Hamilton, 6th of Dalzell and 11th of Orbieston (1742-1834), a distinguished
          solider who fought in the army of the East India Company and in the
          Peninsula War. He was knighted and created a baronet. He was succeeded
          by his grandson in 1886.
