A WHITE AND PALE RUSSET JADE 明/清初 白褐玉雕螭龍紋水器 「長宜子孫」款

The spouted vessel is raised on an oval foot and carved around the sides
with three chilong that have climbed up to the rim, the chilong at the end
forming the openwork handle. The base is carved with an inscription,
Chang yi zi sun (suitable for sons and grandsons forever), within a
rectangular panel. The semi-translucent stone has areas of pale
russet color.
