A GUAN-TYPE BLUE AND WHITE ‘EIGHT
HORSES OF MUWANG’ VASE
Yongzheng seal mark, 19th century
With tapering neck rising to a bulbous mouth and
incurving rim, the globular body applied with a pair
of butterfly handles, decorated with eight lively
horses variously depicted grazing and galloping, all
reserved on a crackle-glazed ground, wood stand.
