           FORM JARDINIÈRES
           Qing Dynasty
           The gently flaring sides rising to everted
           rims, and set on reticulated feet, the sides
           decorated with butterflies and insects
           amongst a variety of fruiting, flowering and
           blossoming plants. 19.7cm (7.3/4in) wide.

           Republic Period
           The first delicately enamelled with insects
           amongst scattered fruit sprays; the second
           decorated with bats suspending shou
           emblems and cash, on a dense ground of
           stylised flowerheads and scrolling foliage,
           iron red Qianlong seal-mark. The gu vase
           14cm (5.1/2in) high.

           rose bowl decorated with lotus, apocryphal
           Yongzheng six-character mark. The bowl,
