Manchu script, the Chinese reading from right to left and brocade woven with a dense pattern of clouds, inscribed in
the Manchurian from left to right, the opening section woven Chinese and Manchurian, the Chinese reading from right
with two dragons ß anking the characters gaoming (‘imperial to left and the Manchurian from left to right, the opening
mandate’), repeated in the Manchurian section, signed section decorated with two dragons ß anking the characters
with six di" erent dates: 17th day, 12th month, 54th year of fengtian gaoming (‘imperial mandate of heaven’), repeated in
Qianlong; 17th day, 12th month, 8th year of Jiaqing; 17th the Manchurian section
