                                              QING DYNASTY, QIANLONG PERIOD
            carved to one side in shallow relief with the
            Tang dynasty poet Li Bai enjoying wine under a   of square section with a canted upper edge, a
            pine tree, the reverse with a line from Du Fu’s   chilong sprawled across the top of the seal, its
            poem ‘Eight Immortals of the Wine Cup’, signed   legs extended in a crouch, its body forming an
            Zigang, confronted kuilong ß anking the aperture   S-curve from the head to the bifurcated tail, the
            at the top, the stone of even pale celadon color  facial features and tufts of fur incised, the seal
            Height 2½ in., 6.3 cm             face uncarved
