            delicately potted, the steeply rounded sides
            deftly painted in varying tones of underglaze
            blue on the exterior with Þ ve chrysanthemum
            medallions each composed of four ß owerheads
            wreathed by broad leaves, enclosed by
            interlaced foliate scrolls, all set between double
            lines encircling the rim and foot, the base with a
            six-character mark in underglaze blue within a
            double circle
