LATE TANG-FIVE DYNASTIES PERIOD, 9TH-10TH CENTURY
EXHIBITED
The cup stand is potted with a rounded concave center rising to a dish-form London, The Oriental Ceramic Society, The Arts of the T’ang Dynasty,
fange raised on a ring foot. It is covered overall with a white glaze with pale 25 February-30 March 1955.

A WHITE-GLAZED ‘LION’ SEAL
SONG-MING DYNASTY (AD 960-1664)
The seal of square section is surmounted by a lion, with its head
turned sharply to one side. The seal face is carved with a three-
character name. It is covered overall with an ivory-white glaze with
faint crackles.
