A YAOZHOU CELADON CONICAL BOWL
NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY,
12TH-13TH CENTURY
The deep, slightly rounded conical sides that rise
to a slightly fared lipped rim are applied on the
interior with fve slender ribs of slip that defne fve
petals, and the bowl is covered inside and out with
an olive-green glaze that thins on the ribs.

A CARVED YAOZHOU CELADON BOWL
NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY,
12TH-13TH CENTURY
The bowl with fared, rounded sides is carved on
the interior with a lotus spray, and is covered inside
and out with an olive-green glaze with areas of
crackling and thinning towards the foot, the base
is unglazed.

A SMALL LONGQUAN CELADON VASE
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The bulbous body rises to a wide cylindrical neck,
terminating in an everted lipped rim, and is covered
overall in a glaze of even greyish-green tone.
