A BLUE AND WHITE ‘PHOENIX-TAIL’ VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase has a baluster body and trumpet neck decorated with fowering
prunus branches on a blue-washed ‘cracked ice’ ground, all between sawtooth
borders, and the base has a double circle in underglaze blue.

A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE DISH
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The dish is decorated in the center with a peony
medallion below eight petal-shaped panels alternately
decorated with landscapes or fowering branches
on a diaper ground on the shallow, rounded sides, an
apocryphal Jiajing mark is on the base.
