Provenance
The vendor’s great grandmother (Anne Sneddon 1880-1957) features 123
in a family portrait which shows the sitter wearing the jadeite necklace A ‘wATeR’ AgATe BRuSH wASHeR
and pendant, circa 1920. The portrait artist is William Howard- 19th century
Robinson (1964-after 1910). Portrait published in the online catalogue. The well carved as a lotus flower, further lotus buds on tendrils around
the exterior and forming the footrim.
