A WHITE-RIMMED BROWN-GLAZED DEEP BOWL
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
The bowl is well potted with deep rounded sides rising to a slightly inverted rim covered
with a white slip under a clear glaze, the body below the rim is covered inside and out with a
lustrous dark brown glaze stopping short of the unglazed foot.
