A HENAN RUSSET-SPLASHED BLACK-GLAZED CONICAL BOWL
NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY (960-1234)
The bowl is well potted with deep rounded sides and covered on the interior with a lustrous
black glaze and decorated with russet splashes. The exterior and base are applied with a
persimmon glaze, ending above the exposed buff biscuit foot.
