Ancient region of Gandhara, 3rd/4th century
With a charming face and curly locks, seated on a lavish cushion above a lotus pedestal,
holding a lotus flower in his left hand.

In its original context, this figure would have appeared amongst the retinue of a grand stele
comparable to the Mohammad Nari Stele of Preaching Buddha. Compare to Luczanits,
