Prajnaparamita, or yum chen mo (Great Mother), is the female
personification of perfect wisdom and insight into the true
nature of reality. She is sometimes considered "the mother of
all buddhas and bodhisattvas" because her teachings lead
to becoming bodhisattva and attaining buddhahood. She
can be identified by one of her attributes, usually held by her
upper left hand, the book of Prajnaparamita, as in the current
lot.
