A BLUE AND WHITE ‘PEONY’ BOTTLE VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is decorated on the bulbous body and tall neck with foliate stems
issuing peony blossoms, between narrow bands of geometric design on the
shoulder and at the mouth rim. The base has an apocryphal Xuande mark.
