NORTHERN SONG – LIAO DYNASTY
the tapering ovoid body rising from a straight foot, set atop
with an upright ropetwist handle diverging into two straps
each terminating in a floral flange, all above a curved spout
on one side, covered overall in a translucent white glaze

A LONGQUAN CELADON HANDLED CUP
SONG – YUAN DYNSATY
the rounded sides rising from a short foot to a gently
incurved rim, set on one side with a bracket-shaped flange
above a loop ring, applied overall with a thick sea-green glaze
save for the unglazed mouthrim and footring
