AN INSCRIBED BAMBOO ‘FLOWERING PRUNUS’ BRUSH POT
SIGNED ZHANG LING, MID-MING DYNASTY
The slender brush pot is delicately carved with twin prunus branches, the depth and details
of the flowers and bark are finely executed. The flowers are accompanied with a poetic
inscription and signed ‘Meng Jin Zhang Ling’.
