A RARE WHITE-GLAZED EWER The form of this ewer, with its angular profile, 宋 白釉執壺
SONG DYNASTY (960-1279) is modelled after metalworks that entered 壺直口,折肩,圓腹,下部內收,足微外撇。
China from Central Asia. Compare to a Ding
The ewer has a deep, rounded body raised ewer of very similar shape, but with carved 肩腹交接處有弦紋一道,整器施白釉,積釉處
on a flared foot, incised with single lines decorations in the Musée Guimet in Paris, 略泛藍。
above and below the sharp edge of the dating to late 10th century to early 11th century,
canted shoulder, with a tall, slender curved illustrated in Sekai Toji Zenshu, Song, vol. 12, 來源
