               A PAIR OF HUANGHUALI  'SOUTHERN OFFICIAL'S HAT'   A similarly proportioned set of four huanghuali ‘southern official’s
               ARMCHAIRS                                        hat’ armchairs, carved with ruyi heads on the back splats, was sold at
               18TH CENTURY                                     Christie’s New York, 20-21 March 2014, lot 2292.
               Each chair has a straight crestrail raised on a plain back splat and curved
               rear posts above the arms, which are supported on the front posts. The
               mat seat is set in a rectangular frame above plain aprons and spandrels.   清十八世紀 黃花梨南官帽椅一對
               The whole is raised on round-section legs joined by stepped stretchers   來源:
