NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY (AD 960-
1234)
The shallow dish rests on a small circular foot, and
the wide, low sides rise to a straight rim. The dish is
covered overall with a sky-blue glaze which thins to a
pale mushroom tone at the rim.

A CARVED YAOZHOU CELADON 'LOTUS'
BOWL
NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY (AD 960-
1234)
The body flares widely to the shallow, upright sides
that rise to a lipped rim, and the interior is well-
carved with a scrolling stem bearing a large lotus
blossom and leaf within a line border. The bowl is
covered overall with a glaze of olive-green tone.
