A WUCAI HEXAGONAL DOUBLE-GOURD VASE
JIAJING PERIOD (1522-1566)
Of hexagonal section, the double-gourd vase is decorated on each facet of
the lower body with flowering and fruiting trees, with the entwined branches
resembling stylized characters below the waisted neck decorated with panels
of flowers and fruit interspersed with auspicious emblems.
