A RARE DARK BLUE-GLAZED FOOTED DISH
YONGZHENG FOUR-CHARACTER IMPRESSED MARK AND OF THE
PERIOD (1723-1735)
The dish raised on five small ruyi-head-form feet rising to a slightly everted
mouth rim is decorated on the exterior with three ribs above the base, and
covered inside and out with a deep lazurite-blue glaze.

A TURQUOISE-GLAZED DISH
YONGZHENG FOUR-CHARACTER INCISED
The shallow dish is potted with rounded sides that rise to an everted rim, and
covered overall with a deep turquoise glaze that pools above the shallow foot.

A related Yongzheng-marked dish of similar shape but molded on the
exterior with a bow-string band and covered in a dark-blue glaze, was sold at
Sotheby’s London, 11 May 2011, lot 243.
