釋文： 觀操守在利害時；觀精力在饑疲時；
觀度量在喜怒時；觀存養在紛華時；
觀鎮定在震驚時。
防欲如挽逆水之舟，纔歇力，便下流；
從善如緣無枝之木，才住腳，便下墜。
題識： 少穆林則徐於築川官廨。
