The present bulb is accompanied by double Japanese wood boxes. The
underside of the cover of the inner box is inscribed with a signature, ⽚ ݩߎ ǯऔᬘ㖅ݦ։⻤㞏ຽ卿Ӭ։ᙻ ჺ ᝲ
Fukkosai, followed by an eponymous seal. Fukkosai was the pseudonym ᚚ⡥⡙⼖༛ᬘᐽ㐈卿ᐽ ⽚ ݩߎ 厎औӬἃ⯅ྒྷ՞⯠⻦卿
of Matsushige Hiroda (1897-1973). Born in the town of Yatsuo (present- ჺ ᝲ ᚚᙻ⡥⡙צᇑᐽ㐈卿ᐽ ⽚ ݩߎ ǯ
day Toyama city), Toyama prefecture, Hirota entered the world of art
dealing at the young age of twelve, and was one of the two co-founders ݤ⏁⸌ㅏᝧǸӶ໌䁗ǹ᪪㍃卿㪪ǸӶ໌䁗ǹបᙔࣇǯӶ໌䁗ἃᅓ⊏៏⥝
of the antique store Kochukyo. In Nihonbashi, Tokyo. In 1947, 1967, and Ԡߣ⽚ǯᅓ⊏៏⥝⊂ᙻᚚទ༛ྒྷ⥂㏎㛌 ի༛ྒྷႪ ǯࢦՀ
1972, he donated a total of 496 items to the Tokyo National Museum.
