                                                                         An excellent iron tsuba of Mokko gata form carved
                                                                         with powerful strokes on either side in high relief
                                                                         with a mass of crashing waves and turbulent water,
                                                                         inlaid with spray drops in silver and gold. One hitsu
                                                                         plugged with gilt copper. Signed Goshu Hikone no
                                                                         ju Soheishi Nyudo Soten sei.
