A VERY LARGE AND RARE BLUE AND 清乾隆 青花纏枝花卉十字紋鳩耳壺

The impressive vase is potted in imitation of an archaic bronze hu vessel 紐約蘇富比，1993 年 6 月 1 至 2 日，拍品 383 號
with the body rising from a tall foot decorated with stylised ruyi-heads
below a band of crashing waves. The oval-shaped body is moulded with 展覽
raised bands decorated with scrolling flowers, suggesting straps and 借展明尼阿波利斯美術館，1999-2020 年
bosses of its archaic bronze prototype. The neck is decorated with a wide
band of large flower heads interlinked by leafy tendrils, framed by two 出版
wave bands. The sides are applied with c-shaped handles, each moulded Robert Jacobsen，葉佩蘭及朱湯生：《清代康雍乾宮窯瓷器：望星
as a horned-dragonhead. All below a band of scrolling tendrils and an 樓藏瓷》，香港，2004 年，52 至 53 頁，圖版 13 號
