A Fahua-type square flaring vase
16th century
Boldly decorated in turquoise, yellow and green glazes, the robustly-
potted rectangular body slightly tapering from a tall splayed foot
rising to a flared flattened rim, each side with a continuous pattern of
scrolling clouds, separated by vertical raised flanges at the corners,
all between a key-fret border below the rim and above the foot.
