Provenance: the parents of the present owners lived in Shanghai
and briefly in Hong Kong from the late 1940s to the early 1950s,
and subsequently in Hong Kong until 1960. The present collection
of paintings (lots 356-360) was acquired in Shanghai or Hong Kong
before the early 1950s.
