                                                                      INCENSE BURNER
                                                                      JIN – YUAN DYNASTY

                                                                      the compressed globular body rising from three legs to a
                                                                      constricted neck and flat everted mouth, applied with a milky-
                                                                      blue glaze liberally splashed with purple, the glaze draining to
                                                                      a mushroom tone at the rim and stopping short of the legs, all
                                                                      supported on a wood stand carved in the form of a lotus pod
                                                                      8.2 cm, 3¼ in.

           A PAIR OF JUNYAO BLUE-GLAZED BOWLS
           SONG – JIN DYNASTY
           each with slightly incurved sides rising at an angle from a
           short foot, applied overall with a sky-blue glaze draining to a
           mushroom tone towards the rim, the glaze stopping irregularly
           above the foot revealing the body burnt orange in the firing
           10.6 and 11 cm, 4⅛ to 4⅜ in.
