           Cut from a length of silk brocade, finely woven with a flying phoenix   Of square shape, finely embroidered with a ferocious front-facing
           with a tasselled tail and wings outstretched amidst a blossoming   four-clawed dragon pursuing the flaming pearl, surrounded by
           lotus, chrysanthemums and peonies issuing from leafy vines and   cruciform and trailing ruyi clouds and flames, all worked in counted
           curling stems, the designs picked out in the vibrant shades of yellow,   satin stitch and wrapped gold thread against a midnight-blue ground,
           blue, red and green and wrapped gold thread, on a deep-midnight-  mounted.
