Comprising: a figure of a seated monk Late 14th century Jin Dynasty
holding a bowl of flowers, with stand; and The bowl supported on a short foot with The compressed body surmounted by
a seated smiling boy with his legs crossed deep curved sides, the interior carved with a tapering neck recessed just above the
holding a vase, both unglazed. The monk: stylised foliate branches, fitted box; the shoulder, covered overall with brownish-black
15cm (5 7/8in) high (3). cizhou cup on a tall slightly splayed foot with glaze and freely painted with russet streaks,
brown slip decorated bands of stylised floral the unglazed footring revealing a buff-
