TWO WHITE JADE PANELS
18th/19th century
One of oval form incised to depict a scholar and boy attendant
walking on a rocky path between pine trees, on a perspex mount; the
other of quatrefoil form incised with a bat hovering above flowering
peonies emerging from behind a rock, mounted onto a white metal
box.
The largest: 12.5cm (5in) long (2).

TWO JADE OVAL PLAQUES
18th/19th century
The larger white jade plaque finely carved to depict a hu vase filled
flowering prunus branches, beside lingzhi fungus and bamboo
leaves, mounted with a wood back; the smaller pale green jade
plaque deeply carved with a vase filled with flowers supported on a
rock above waves and clouds, mounted into a European silver box
decorated with acanthus scroll and a heraldic crest.
The largest: 12cm (4 3/4in) long (2).
