ladies and gentlemen at leisure in riverside
gardens; the circular tureen with scenes of
basket weaving in pavilion gardens.
The vase: 38.7cm (15 1/4in) high; the tureen:

OF RECUMBENT RAMS AND A WHITE
GLAZED SEATED HOUND
18th century
The rams with the heads variously turned
left and right, the horns, eyes and hooves
detailed in underglaze blue; and a small white
glazed seated hound modelled with a bell
collar. The rams: 11.5cm (4 1/2in) long; the
hound: 7cm (2 3/4in) high (3).
