A BLUE AND WHITE SOFT PASTE OVOID JAR Provenance:
18th century Bequest of William Rhinelander Stewart, 1929
Painted in delicate shades of cobalt blue in a penciled style under The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1929-present
a light pale brown, crackled glaze, with widely spaced small
chrysanthemum flowerheads on scrolling leafy-stemmed tendrils 來源：
between slender leaf lappets at the foot and a band of ruyi lappets William Rhinelander Stewart 遺贈，1929 年
and a chevron band at the shoulder, below a short, glazed neck and 大都會藝術博物館，1929 年迄今
rounded rim, supported on a short unglazed foot ring with deeply cut
flat base.
