THREE WHITE OR CREAM GLAZED VESSELS Provenance:
Mid-Late Qing Dynasty Samuel Putnam Avery (1822-1904), New York
Comprising a white-glazed incense holder of rectangular shape with Purchase by subscription, 1879
nine molded and incised Buddhist lions chasing beribboned balls to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1879-present
on one main side and also to one narrow edge, the other sides solid,
one short end with an aperture for a locking cover (missing); a small 來源:
cream-glazed oviform jar with a dense pale-brown crackle; and a deep Samuel Putnam Avery (1822-1904),紐約
