A GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA
NEPAL, 15TH CENTURY
Seated in dhyanasana on a round cushion with hands in
bhumisparshamudra, wearing thick silk robes with incised borders, the
face with fnely cast features and urna cast as if a whorl of hair, the
ushnisha surmounted by a knop
