黄林生先生收藏的中国书 画

Mr Wong Lam Sang (1942-2016) moved to Australia to study
architecture. He was one of the first four Malaysian students
to have ever graduated from Melbourne University. A lover of
the fine arts, he became a qualified piano teacher after retiring
as an architect. Mr Wong consulted for the National Gallery
of Victoria on various projects, and donated works in the
1970s and 1980s, many of which were published in the gallery
bulletin.
The collection offered here comprises over 40 Chinese
paintings. Many were Mr Wong’s cherished possessions,
bearing his personal collector’s seals. With examples from the
17th century to the modern era, the collection is a testament to
a truly diversified interest and refined taste in Chinese paintings.
黃林生（1942 - 2016），馬來西亞華僑，大學時期來澳深
造，主修建築系，並成為墨爾本大學史上首四位馬國畢業生之
一。衷愛藝術，潛心書法、音樂，退休後成為認證鋼琴教師，
並多次協助維多利亞州立博物館中國藝術展覽，擔任翻譯工
作。黃先生更熱心公眾藝術事業，曾於七八十年代捐贈所藏於
維省博物館，諸扵作皆稳刊登於博物館館刊。
此次推出的黃林生收藏的逾四十件中國書畫，時代涵蓋明清乃
至近現代。其中有印其私藏章，曰「黃林生藏」或「野人山
102 房」者，皆稳黃氏摯愛寶藏。
