Yongzheng six-character mark
with incised eight Buddhist emblems, each above an Indian
lotus, the lotus pattern repeated on the side of the foot,
16.0cm diam., 10.3cm high

A well known prototype, a similar piece with knopped stem
was included in the Exhibition of Ch’ing Porcelain from the
Wah Kwong Collection, Hong Kong, 1973, cat no. 51. The
same carved pattern also appears on yellow glazed pieces 160
in prominent collections.
