Tibet, 19th Century
Fine stand on a tall foot and cover, both finely
embossed and chiselled with floral motifs
enclosed in cartouches and buddhist emblems;
the missing cup probably of porcelain.

finemente sbalzati e cesellati a motivi floreali in

A SILVER REPOUSSE’ BOWL
India, circa 1900
Circular body, strongly rounded. The external
surface featuring a large band in the center,
adorned with various embossed person,
in high-relief, all differently dressed, some
intended to dance, some armed with a bow
and lance, one figure represents Kinnara (half
a man, half a bird). The upper and lower bands
decorated with floral motifs. Provenance:
Lucknow.
