This series of batik paintings were acquired from a London gallery by a private European
collector who owns a well-known Greek shipping company and is passionate about
collecting art. Part of a larger collection, they remained in London until the late 1970s before
being transferred to Athens, thereafter by descent to the present owners.
本輯峇迪蠟染畫由歐洲私人藏家購於倫敦畫廊。其為知名希臘船運公司東主，雅好藝術收藏。
本系列屬總藏品中之一部份，一直保存在倫敦至一九七〇年代晚期，後遂移至雅典，最終由現藏
家繼承至今。
