sold in these rooms, 13 May 2013, lot 43. Two smaller examples of the
subject treated in a similar manner and possibly by the same anonymous
maker have also been recorded. One from the M. T. Hindson Collection,
illustrated by N. Davey, MTH, p.387, no.1160, was subsequently sold in
these rooms, Fine Japanese Art, 10 November 2011, lot 64.
