‘CONSTELLATIONS’ TABLET
QING DYNASTY
in the form of a gui sceptre combined with a bi disc centred
with an aperture and densely covered with small bosses, the
reverse of the disc with archaistic scrollwork, the gui further
decorated with rockwork and waves below the disc, all below
the Constellations of the Twelve Symbols near the opposite
edge of the gui, the stone of a pale celadon colour with dark
brown and russet patches
