 A VERY RARE LARGE PURPLE-SPLASHED JUN DEEP BOWL
 JIN DYNASTY (1115-1234)
 The deep, rounded sides are covered inside and out with a thick glaze of milky
 blue tone, accented with large purple splashes on the exterior and the interior,
 which is left unglazed in the center. The rim is unglazed.
 6 in. (15.2 cm.) diam., hardwood stand and cloth box

 in Mayuyama, Seventy Years, vol. 1, Tokyo, 1976, no. 410, p. 139. A purple-
 splashed Jun bowl of similar large size was sold at Christie’s Hong Kong, 27
 November 2019, lot 3062.
