          LINE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
          Raised on three truncated conical supports, the compressed

          on top of the milky white body. An additional character, han, is
          inscribed under the nianhao.

          The Strong Museum of Play, Rochester, New York,
 Motley Woodbury (1859-1933), on behalf of the Strong
          accessioned in 1974.
 Museum in Rochester, New York. Alice Woodbury came
 from a family of avid art collectors, and was particularly

 resources for the opening of a museum, and in 1982, the
 Margaret Woodbury Strong Museum opened to the public
 in Rochester, New York. Upon its opening, portions of Alice
 Woodbury’s Asian art collection were featured in a central
