faceted spout, the ewer is well carved in shallow
relief on either side with bands of confronting
dragons on the neck and body.

A SMALL WHITE JADE 'DRAGON’ VASE
18TH-19TH CENTURY A FACETED PALE GREENISH-WHITE
JADE VASE
Carved with three sinuous dragons in relief, the gu-form vase is decorated with
incised key-fret borders, leaves, and clouds. The elephant-mask handles have 18TH-19TH CENTURY
loose rings. The sides of the body are carved with taotie masks
below the waisted neck carved with upright petals

and flanked by a pair of stylized animal-head
handles suspending loose rings.
