          A pair of similar dishes was sold at Sotheby’s Hong Kong, 17 May 1988,
          lot 95. Compare also a pair of dishes included in the Hong Kong O.C.S.
          exhibition of Ch'ing Polychrome Porcelain, 1977, Catalogue no. 35, with
          Kangxi reign marks and the same decoration on a yellow ground; also
          the Ming prototype illustrated by Geng Baochang, Ming Qing Ciqi
          Jianding, Mingdai Bufen, p. 140, fig. 147, with a Wanli reign mark and a
          yellow ground.
