responsible for any damage to the mounts which may be caused by the
removal of the ivory or rosewood. Sotheby’s will contact the buyers of
lots containing rosewood to confirm the removal or to proceed with the
application directly after the sale. If no response is provided, restricted
materials will be removed for export outside of the United States.
