AN AGATE ‘JUJUBE AND MUSHROOMS’ SNUFF BOTTLE
19th century
Of ovoid form and well hollowed, shaped as a jujube with a flattened
base, the body carved in relief using the lighter portion of the stone to
depict mushrooms, peanut and flower heads.
